Knitehawk Coat of Arms
Knitehawk is one of the best Trials of Osiris players in Destiny. He needed something that represents his online presence and speaks to the bond of family.
Knitehawk Twitch Mark
This little guy shows up on the back of Knitehawk's teeshirts to direct folks to his twitch stream where the real work is done.
Wednesday Night Gaming
I play games on Wednesday nights with some other grownups. I designed this shirt so we could all wear it and feel like a unified team of nerds.
Killer Bees Logo
I am on an ultimate team and we needed a new logo to put on some shirts.
Playroom Wall Mural
I made this vector art design for a children's playroom, executed as a layered cut vinyl sticker. The owner wanted to commemorate a classic mini race car he had owned. The owner was me.
240RS Maxi Shirt
Shirt design for the 240RS Maxi engineering and design teams for special events. Limited edition.
240RS Maxi Racing Logo
Logo for the 240RS Maxi racing team: a successfully campaigned and ever improving open class TT car built and driven by Bill Washburn.
Motion Graphics Reel
My old reel from the early 2000's when I used to do motion design in NYC. I did work with PBS, Curious Pictures, Heavy, and some independents.
Low resolution because high definition didn't exist yet; everything was done in NTSC.
Fully poseable 3D printed robots
I used Blender to model these robots, and have printed them on a Makerbot Replicator 2 using PLA Filament. The legs have 3 ball and socket joints I designed with enough friction to hold poses but also flexible enough to be assembled.
You can download and print your own from thingiverse.com:
Secrets of the Dead logo
While I was at Channel 13 WNET in New York I designed the logo for the Secrets of the Dead TV series.
Barbie: Jammin' In Jamaica
I worked as a compositor for this totally awesome straight to video Barbie movie. I worked exclusively in After Effects. You'll have to wait till 43:23 to see my name in the credits, but it's worth it.
Years ago I worked as a graphic designer, motion graphics artist, special effects compositor, and art director. I eschewed visual creativity for mental gymnastics when I shifted focus to front end engineering. Now I melt keyboards writing code, with a toolbelt enhanced with design sensibility.
